About the wine
Stunningly smooth Oregon Pinot
- Everything you want in a Willamette Pinot! This perfectly polished red from all-star winemaker Chris Baker is vibrant and juicy – with cherry, raspberry and plum flavors – all subtly seasoned with the finest oak aging.
- Your funding gave Chris access to Willamette Valley’s best nooks and crannies – like Pete's Mountain, Yamhill-Carlton, Eola-Amity, and Ribbon Ridge – home to some of the finest Pinot Noir in Oregon. Then Chris barrel aged the wine for nearly a year for finesse.
- Thanks to you, Chris dubs the 2021 vintage “the best Willamette Valley Pinot yet.” Take home a bottle of this prized Pinot and taste it for yourself!
Best before
It's drinking nicely now, but will improve over the next few years. Buy enough to drink now and lay some down for as long as you possibly can wait.
Serving advice
I recommend letting it breathe for about 30 minutes to allow the wine to soften and round out. It has enough life that it will drink well for days after opening.
Food match
Pork belly salad, a charcuterie plate, duck confit salad, barbecue chicken or a cedar plank salmon filet.
Contains sulphites
Wine profile
Meet the winemaker - Chris Baker
Brace yourself for lavish, ripe wines from Willamette’s most treasured vineyards – made by the man who makes some of the country’s most expensive Pinot Noir!
With Angels' help, Chris is uncovering the ultra-posh wines from this 100-point region's sub-appellations – including Dundee Hills, Ribbon Ridge and Yamhill-Carlton.
He's a quiet, passionate guy that loves putting in 110% to make each vintage better than the last, but don't let the modesty fool you! You fund a world-class talent, and you're giving him the freedom to make Willamette shine.
