About the wine
Scott's personal wine brand is a treasure that he's been working on for over 10 years.
- Dark, dense and intense - one of Scott's crazy blends that's way way more than a sum of its parts. Zinfandel and Syrah deliver dark berries and spice, while a healthy dose of Cabernet Sauvignon gives the wine depth and power.
- Rumpus was Scott's personal wine brand and he tried to sell it via traditional dstribution channels for over ten years before meeting the Angels and realizing he could do things differently.
- Starting with 2015, Scott is making Rumpus with Angel funding and offering it exclusively through NakedWines.com - these are the last few drops of the 2012 so it won't last long!

Meet the winemaker - Scott Peterson
Scott spent over 20 years making wine for storied Sonoma wineries like Kendall-Jackson and Buena Vista – as well as Argentina’s Nicolás Catena Family of Wines and Chile’s Axel and La Playa Wines – before Angel support allowed him to march to his own drum.
Scott loves working with Angel funding because you allow him to make the wines he wants to. He's old school, and he doesn't want to make new styles just because they’re trendy.
