About the wine
Rich, buttery and decadent Sonoma white
-
This is quintessential Scotty P. Chardonnay, dripping with ripe golden delicious apple and pear flavors – lush and plush like crème brûlée from start to finish.
-
Your funding helped Scott harvest top-shelf grapes from the Russian River Valley, a western subregion of Sonoma with pristine cool-climate vineyards – home to some of California’s best Chardonnay.
-
If you are a fan of Scott’s other Chardonnays, you’ll love this gloriously rich, full-bodied white. Indulge yourself. You deserve it.
Best before
2-3 years, but why wait?
Serving advice
A bit warmer than the fridge - pull out, open and wait 15-20 minutes. This is a bigger style of Chardonnay and could use a bit of air to open up.
Food match
Rich, buttery shellfish like crab, lobster, shrimp and scallops.
Contains sulphites
Wine profile
Meet the winemaker - Scott Peterson
Scott spent over 20 years making wine for storied Sonoma wineries like Kendall-Jackson and Buena Vista – as well as Argentina’s Nicolás Catena Family of Wines and Chile’s Axel and La Playa Wines – before Angel support allowed him to march to his own drum.
Scott loves working with Angel funding because you allow him to make the wines he wants to. He's old school, and he doesn't want to make new styles just because they’re trendy.
If you like gloriously decadent, no-holds-barred wines, buy everything Scott makes. You will not regret it.
