- Karen added Petit Verdot for a ripe, bold backbone of dark fruit, Malbec and Cabernet Sauvignon for depth, and Merlot, Alicante Bouschet, and rare (and intense!) Teroldego for complexity.
- This inviting red blend pairs best with company. Have a bottle on hand for family dinner or downtime with a friend on the porch – and you can’t go wrong!

This wine was made to be enjoyed now, though it will also evolve and age in the bottle. I can't wait to come back and try it over the next few years.
Serving advice
This wine is ready to open and enjoy now! I do recommend letting it open up and air out if you have your favorite aerator handy. Otherwise open the bottle, pour a glass, swirl, then wait half an hour to 2 hours (if you can), then enjoy.

This is a great wine to enjoy without food. The perfect red wine to have ready after work, or when friends start to get together again.

- Karen Birmingham proved her incredible talent working for years at sustainable winery LangeTwins (with David Akiyoshi).
- Angel funding has helped her start her own project featuring breathtaking grape varieties many Lodi wineries are afraid of playing with!
- Karen's delicate touch always brings out the best in the fruit (she's won back-to-back Gold and Double Gold medals to prove it!) and really makes these grapes shine in the warm, sandy soils she calls home.
