Irene Paiva Qu Estate Field Blend 2018
About the wine
From Irene's very own vineyard, a best-of-the-best blend of Cabernet, Syrah and more!
Intensely fruity, bright and popping with tastes of ripe blackberry and cherry, this red blend from the heart of Chile is a juicy, fresh and velvety-smooth sensation.
Straight from Irene’s very own vineyard in Chile’s Central Valley, this red began with her home’s Mediterranean climate and volcanic soils – the ideal mix for growing lush, plump grapes that she can turn into fabulously fruity red wines.
This field blend perfectly ties together all the grapes in Irene’s picturesque vineyard: Cabernet Sauvignon for a full, rich structure, Syrah and Petit Verdot for the fruity freshness and a little bit of Carignan for an extra bright bounce of juiciness and lively color.

Serving advice
Serve at 60-64°F. Ideally, let the wine breathe for 30 minutes before drinking.

Wine profile
Meet the winemaker - Irene Paiva
Irene had a hand in most of the top wines in Chile. As a pioneering women winemaker in South America, she's cited in loads of wine curriculum books across the world for her influence in the region!
Being an independent winemaker in Chile is rare, and Irene leads the way. With over 20 years of experience, she is a highly sought-after winemaking consultant and manages her own vineyard estate...
... that’s where her Angel-funded wines come from. She’s made wines for Chile's big names (including San Pedro and Sena, Robert Mondavi’s Chilean brand with Eduardo Chadwick) but her very favorite consultant is YOU.
