About the wine
Sultry, robust old-vine Zinfandel from your Lodi specialist
- This luscious, mouth-filling Zinfandel is juicier than a fresh pick of brambly blackberries, with layers of dark fruits balanced over a backdrop of toasty oak, all woven into a long, lingering finish.
- Thanks to your funding, Evangelos could source high-quality Zinfandel from an 85-year-old vineyard thriving in Lodi’s rich, sandy loam soils and producing tiny grapes loaded with complex, concentrated flavors that burst through with each sip.
- Your support helped Evangelos elevate the unique richness of this classic Lodi Zin with a special regimen of fermenting in concrete tanks and a full 18 months of aging in American oak barrels. Now it’s all yours to savor!
