About the wine
Sweet French sipping
- This French specialty is a fortified dessert wine – delicate, sweet and rare. Harvested by hand from France's famed Languedoc region, high above sea level, Ben's brought you a rare treat.
- Light citrus, grapefruit and stone fruit flavors are finished off with sweet brioche for a delicious finishing touch after any meal.
- It pairs with so much more than just dessert – though it's particularly tasty with lemon tarts or pecan pie. Get creative and serve it with a cheese board or seared fatty seafood and salty asparagus.
Best before
Drinks perfectly well young (3 to 5 years) but promises to age well, developing toasty, marmalade notes for beyond a decade.
Serving advice
To served between 10 and 12°C.
Food match
Our wine pairs very well with cheese, crayfish, asparagus, canapé of foie gras, salty-sweet dish (like tajine) and of course, dessert like lemon tart or pecan pie.
