Aperture Chenin Blanc 2019
About the wine
Crisp, clean, world-class Chenin Blanc from the one and only Jesse Katz
Perfectly refreshing, with a bounty of lush stone fruit flavors, this world-class Chenin is a mouthwatering must-try from one of the best indie winemakers in the business.
Winemaker Jesse Katz traveled to the heart of Clarksburg, CA for this spectacular Chenin, hand-harvested from an esteemed old-vine vineyard, where conditions are ideal for growing unbelievably concentrated and complex fruit.
Aged in a mix of stainless steel and French oak for just the right amount of delicate layering of flavors, this Chenin’s crispness pairs beautifully with seafood or a decked out charcuterie board, complete with creamy Brie cheese.
Best before
This wine is drinking beautifully now and will age in bottle gracefully for the next 1-2 years.
Serving advice
We suggest serving this wine chilled.
Food match
This aromatic Chenin Blanc is beautifully served with rich fish or lighter meats like turkey, poultry, or pork chops and is beautifully complemented by creamy cheeses like brie, herbs, and butter sauces and a variety of vegetables.

Wine profile
Meet the winemaker - Jesse Katz
Jesse Katz is a winemaking wunderkind who spent his formative years working with legendary names like Bordeaux's Pétrus (he even experienced a harvest at Screaming Eagle) before becoming America's youngest head winemaker at 25 with Lancaster Estate.
In 2009, Jesse launched his Sonoma winery, Aperture Cellars, where he’s already earned dozens of 95+ Robert Parker Wine Advocate Scores since then. He’s got decades of harvests before him and he loves the community you've built at Naked so much, he wants to make award-winning wines with you, too.
“Angel support is amazing," said Jesse. "Working with Naked Wines is a wonderful way to be creative and we’re excited about a growing partnership now and in the future.”
