Pieter Hanekom's Story
"Hi Naked Drinkers, I am very excited about being a Naked Winemaker.
I began experimenting with wine making at a very young age during my high school career - and then decided to travelled to France and Spain to gain experience. The techniques and knowledge of the French wine masters I met set the stage, and motivated me to become a "distinguished" winemaker."
My enthusiasm grew from strength to strength, and today I produces award winning wines at South African winery Akkerdal - in the beautiful Franschhoek valley.
It was a great moment when my Akkerdal Wild Boar blend won out at the Naked tasting, it was shortlisted by our Archangel customers from over 140 wines. Awesome feeling to have all my hard work recognised.
