Guilhem Marty
Chardonnay is this man's middle name! Not really...but his Chardonnays taste so good, it should be!
- Nestled in to the foothills of the Pyrenees, a magical combination of Mediterranean sun, cool nights and limestone soil make Limoux home to some of France's most stunning white wines.
- Limoux is the Languedoc's best-kept secret. In fact, what most people don't know is that a Limoux white can be just as serious, just as refined and just as delicious as any of the Burgundy big-names. But cost just a fraction of the price.
- When one of our best-selling winemakers Joost Villebois insisted we try out Guilhem's wines we thought we'd better pay attention. Wow! These big, grown-up wines certainly lived up to their hype. And more.

Guilhem Marty's Story
"I was born in Carcassonne, Languedoc. I was introduced to wine at the age of 15 by my grandfather, winemaker in Puichéric, Minervois. Wine has always been a large part of my life!
After 4years of studying Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry, I joined the Institute of Enology in Montpellier in 1994. I then became an intern at Sieur d'Arques, then in 1995 I vinified AOC Limoux white wines sold at the auction "Toques and Clochers. " After graduating in 1996,I worked for a year and half in two appellations of Languedoc, the Corbieres and Minervois.
In1997 I was hired back at Sieur d'Arques to run the winemaking department. A very proud moment for me as that is where my first work in wine had truly started. Having been a young intern here before coming back to run the whole show has been a very interesting experience.
I was introduced to Naked Wines by my friends at the Villebois vineyards. Having tasted the wonderful Sauvignon Blanc they make, I know that Naked drinkers expect the best. I hope to show you all just how good French Chardonnay can be. I very much hope you love my wines!
Best,
Guilhem Marty"
