Andrea Ferreyra's Story
Andrea Ferreyra's Story
"When I was a child, I always used to visit the countryside every weekend. I loved (and I still do love) the contact with nature. I think it was this love that spurred me into studying oenology, which in turn, led to me entering the wine profession. Even whilst I was at college, I used to work the harvests and go to tastings...
To this day, I'm still just as passionate about the profession. In fact, it is my passion for the job that forms my key winemaking philosophies:
- Love
- Discipline
- Perseverance
- Creativity
- Partnership
I consider all of these elements vital to making a good bottle of wine. And putting in long hours is also important, sometimes 20 hour days..."e;
