Provence's golden boy is back on home turf and continuing to make waves

- Despite achieving great success across the globe, Benjamin decided to take the ultimate risk in 2015, choosing to leave it all behind and return to his roots in France.
- Back in his natural habitat, Benjamin has continued to produce truly stellar wines. Despite working with a huge variety of different grapes across many different regions, his wines consistently carry an impecable freshness and minerality in true Burgundy style - you just can't beat it!

After studying viticulture and oenology in Burgundy, and perfecting my skills in some prestigious appellations such as Pouilly Fuissé, Saint Emilion and Corbières, I have been working 12 years abroad, mainly in Chile but also in Australia and New-Zealand. Back in France in 2015, I started the adventure that led me my ultimate dream: having my own vineyards.
After a general education in agriculture I discovered winemaking by chance. I decided to continue studying it, but it's after my first internship at Château de Fuissé that I knew this was going to be my profession. More than that: my passion.
I love adapting winemaking to the terroir and every harvest is a new experience. To me, it's necessary to adapt winemaking practices to the nature of the grape, in order to get the best out of it.
Any tales of joy or sorrow along the way?
In 2010 in Chile, where I just got my first "important" job as a chief winemaker, we had an earthquake that destroyed the entire barrel cellar and part of the winery. Just two months before the harvest......
Most memorable moment making wine?
The most memorable moment was during the harvest at Domaine de Triennes in 2007 where the chief winemaker got blessed at the very beginning of the harvest. I had to take the management of the winery without ever having worked there before.
