Expensive but Brilliant.

Beautiful golden colour on pouring the nose is as complex and interesting as the wine itself. Floral, citrus, spice and that slight petrol smell you get with Riesling.

It's fresh and dry in the mouth with those citrus and spice flavours coming through with a slight honeyness on the long finish.

A great treat and a wine that should impress most people.

Possibly one of the most expensive Reds I have had in a very long time (Although not really since it is the freebie for the month). First couple of sips thought - Typical French, should had avoided!!! BUT after my 3rd and 4th sips, the flavours started to break through and the smoothness was amazing - possibly should have let it breath more than straight from cork.... Appeared to be darker than my usual drink, with a fairly strong aroma and flavour. Would be better if savoured in front of an open coal fire on this cold winter night, but did find warming in itself!! Enjoyed and consumed with great ease... Buy again?? Only if on offer / free....

This wine is fantastic! I don't often buy French wine, and if I do, usually special bottles from the great Chateaux for my "cellar" (actually in a defunct fireplace - but it works!), but I would give this a great thumbs up. Lovely bouquet, loads of fruit - bursting with flavour. Well done Naked! xx
