Matt Iaconis Delta California Chardonnay 2020
About the wine
Bright, balanced, barrel-fermented Chardonnay from star winemaker Matt Iaconis
- This limited-edition Chardonnay strikes just the right balance between ripe fruit flavors, like munching crisp yellow apple, with a slight touch of vanilla from fermenting in oak barrels.
- Matt sourced this Chardonnay from a cool-climate vineyard in the Sacramento Delta, where afternoon breezes kept temperatures in check, helping this Chardonnay’s grapes ripen slowly and evenly.
- Husband-and-wife team Matt and Alexis Iaconis founded Delta as a line of small-production wines to champion a host of their favorite regions around the Golden State. Plus, for every bottle sold, they donate a portion of the proceeds to a variety of environmental agencies to fight climate change.
