About the wine
Here's looking at you, Qu Sauvignon Blanc
- Spilling over with bright citrus and tropical fruits, this purely refreshing white shines brighter than the sunniest day.
- Thanks to Angel funding, Irene utilized her preferred sustainable practices and minimal intervention to preserve the essence of Casablanca and its unique cool climate in this fresh and zippy white.
- If you’ve never had a Chilean white, this is the one to try! Irene’s Sauvignon Blanc is a “must-have for anyone who hasn’t explored what Casablanca’s cool climate offers”.
Best before
While this Sauvignon Blanc is delightful when young, it has the potential to develop further complexity over the next 2-3 years. Ideal storage conditions include a cool, dark place with consistent temperature
Serving advice
We recommend chilling the wine to around 10-12°C before serving. Allowing it to breathe for a few minutes after opening can also help to fully release its aromatic profile.
Food match
Locally, we love pairing this Sauvignon Blanc with fresh seafood, particularly ceviche or grilled white fish. Its crispness also complements goat cheese salads and herb-infused dishes, enhancing the flavors of both the food and the wine.
Contains sulphites
Wine profile
Meet the winemaker - Irene Paiva
Irene had a hand in most of the top wines in Chile. As a pioneering women winemaker in South America, she's cited in loads of wine curriculum books across the world for her influence in the region!
Being an independent winemaker in Chile is rare, and Irene leads the way. With over 20 years of experience, she is a highly sought-after winemaking consultant and manages her own vineyard estate...
... that’s where her Angel-funded wines come from. She’s made wines for Chile's big names (including San Pedro and Sena, Robert Mondavi’s Chilean brand with Eduardo Chadwick) but her very favorite consultant is YOU.
