About the wine
A head-turning limited edition Riesling, so feather light it barely stays in the bottle
- Dom has Riesling fans queuing around the virtual block for a chance to have a sip of this crisp, citrusy white. It's so exclusive that nothing quite like it has ever been made before... and may not be made again.
- The cool NZ climate does wonders for Riesling grapes, making this wine fiendishly light and easy drinking. Tended by hand and put through a super selective harvesting process, only the best grapes will do.
- This makes for an even finish and lush smoothness. The clay soil brings a richness and beautiful minerality to the party, complimenting the fresh flavours of pineapple and citrus. Very few Rieslings tread this balance so effortlessly... it's a true rarity and we're so excited to let Angels loose on it.

Serving advice
Best served chilled between 10-12°C
Food match
Some fresh greens and simply cooked fish with a slice of lemon is just right. If you're up for something slightly richer I love more complex Rieslings with a homemade Jackfruit curry.

Wine profile
Meet the winemaker - Dom Maxwell
- Dom is one of the best winemakers in New Zealand. He was voted New Zealand Winemaker of the Year in 2018 and 2011, he also won the prestigious Decanter International Trophy for Pinot Noir in 2014.
- We had a nod from Rod Easthope that Dom wanted to break free, become an independent winemaker and create a brighter future for his family. Frankly it was a chance we couldn't pass up.
- Dom has made wine for some exceptional Kiwi wineries, including Muddy Water and Greystone. Now he's able to put his own name on the label to make wines for himself and for you.
