About the wine
.
- A wonderful blend of Grenache, Syrah, Mourvedre & Carignan grapes from the terroir of Saint Chinian, it packs a punch with rich, awfully silky black cherry and redcurrant fruits, laced with a little spice and a lovely grip in the mouth.
- Funny name, you ask? Well, it's the name in Latin for hackberry, a tree that grows well in the region. Benjamin explains: "I love the tree and the name is ringing with my link to Australia." Makes sense to us.
- In terms of bang for your buck, it doesn't get much better than this. Trust us.
