B Vintners Pinotage 2018
About the wine
- "The idea was to make a wine, which could not be replicated anywhere else in the world, making it uniquely South African, but irresistibly delicious. This we have done by applying our artistry and shaping Pinotage, unmistakably South African, into something marvelous and seek-worthy.
- The nose is wonderfully fragrant with notes of flowers, herbs, and spice, not to mention red and black cherry. The palate, meanwhile, shows pure fruit, fresh and vibrant acidity, and the most fantastic tannins.
- "Naked Wines and their amazing Angels have been an absolute blessing. During incredibly challenging and unprecedented times, they have been a beacon of light. We have had this very special bottling of Pinotage, but because of the pandemic, we have lost our market for this wine. However, Naked Wines have identified with this great wine and have decided to include it into the fine wine selection."
