Massimo Tripaldi's Story
"My passion for the vineyards and wine was born from the earliest years of my life, being born into a family of winegrowers. As a child I grew up in the vineyards where my love for the vineyard and wine was born. Entering the first time in the cellar, I immediately fell in love with perfume and positive feelings that environment that could transmit.
From here was born my love for the cellar. I love that I can follow my instincts and stay in touch with nature. My keyword in the philosophy of making the wine is passion, passion, and more passion.
Because of my love for my profession I have often threatened to overshadow my family, and I realized that certain lifestyle choices can be accepted only if you can involve your partner in your passion that often absorbs you completely. For a special tasting in the cellar, without a doubt it would be with my grandparents, having them visit to "taste" my work.
A wine could well describe me is a Primitivo di Manduria not yet fully mature, because at first it may seem brusque and edgy, but this taste will serve to obtain an excellent final result.
The most unpleasant thing of this job is having to justify the investment to headmasters that sometimes are often unable to catch immediately the importance of certain choices. The greatest satisfaction of this job is when a person who doesn't know you tastes your own bottle and not knowing which is the fruit of your work, so enchanting. Without this job I can not imagine anything else!"
