Hang on! Isn't all wine vegetarian?
What makes a wine vegetarian or vegan? Vegan winemaker Jen Pfeiffer explains here:
"It's all to do with the fining process. Fining is done to clarify the wine - to make it clear and bright!
Animal proteins such as milk, egg whites and gelatin are commonly used as fining agents. But vegetarian wines use veggie-friendly materials like clay or charcoal, as well as alternative processes to fine the wine without the need for animal products."
We've popped together a mouth-watering line-up of vegan and vegetarian wines especially for you.
