I grabbed this from my recent case last night and on tasting realised I should of read the blurb. I did save most of it for tonight, where I grilled some duck breasts and it was 👌🏻 The nose was cherry, raspberry and coke! (I’ve never noticed that in a wine before) But it didn’t follow through to the taste. Taste wise, this is smooth and elegant. There’s red cherry, raspberry and strawberry, with a nice bite of acidity. Then it smooths out becoming almost creamy. There’s some warming spice and red liquorice on the finish. There isn’t the savoury element I usually enjoy with PN but it is a beautifully crafted wine and I’d definitely buy it again (if I could) I can’t really fault it! 9/8/19
