I like this, LOTS!!!!!! It is a lovely deep red colour a really sparkled against the light. Smell is rather flowery with a bit of the leathery smell of a tack room. Taste wise medium to full bodied loads of complex fruits, tannins than hint towards good ageing potential I suspect mean it will continue to improve after the 2016 date suggested in the blurb. And also an nice black pepper spicyness in the long smooth finish. Tonight it has been great just sipping it on its own while watching James Bond on telly, and still nice with some ryvetas and cheese for supper, tomorrow it is certainly being tried with steak and chips! And the best bit? That crazy price! Even by naked standards this is stunningly cheap for what it is, it would still be getting 4.5 hearts (am saving half a heart as I suspect it is still to reach its best) if it cost £10 a bottle, there will certainly be more of this in my next order! Ok so now it is tomorrow, and the wine has been matched with venison steak and chips (and Norwich's second best product after Naked Wines, Colemans English mustard) and the blurb is right, even challenging it with fiery yellow paste (fresh made from powder, using milk to get is a hot as possible!) the wine complement the meal perfecty. The flavours of last night have blended together nicely and the tannins have rounded off to deliver a great long and too complex to even begin to describe finish. The best I can manage is to say the finish tastes and feels the colour of the foil dairy milk chocolate used to be wrapped in! Stuff it it can have last half heart now, Naked, when I taste this in a few months time I'll need more than 5 hearts to give it!
