Hearts & Bones Angeli Cabernet Sauvignon 2014
About the wine
Stuart is the legend and the man behind Vasse Felix, Voyager Estate and Stella Bella just to name a few
- This is the pinnacle of Hearts and Bones red wines; a classic Margaret River Cabernet Sauvignon that has the potential to cellar well for 10 or more years.
- This wine has a lovely sweet core of berry fruits bridled by some supple fruit and oak tannins.
- The Hearts and Bones range is what making wine outside of large corporations should taste like.
Best before
Drink now to 2032. This wine will age for at least 15 years in good cellaring conditions, i.e. constant temperatures, at about 14 - 16 deg C.
However this vintage drinks very well in its youth too, so keep a bottle or two handy, while the rest are in the cellar.
Serving advice
Serve at 16-18°C. Open/Decant 1-2 hours before serving. While it is a young wine, it is likely to be better the second night.
Food match
Char grilled local venison or Wagyu Rump, with porcini risotto and steamed seasonal vegetables
Contains sulphites
