Maurizio Castelli Rosso di Montalcino 2014
About the wine
Deeply pleasurable drop from the most skilled winemaker in one of Italy's most sought-after regions
Maurizio's Rosso di Montalcino is the 'baby brother' of the ultra-prestigious Brunello di Montalcino - and it's totally delicious in its own right.
Classic and classy, this wine is ruby red and surprisingly fruity. Ripe red cherry, raspberries and delicate spices tickle your tongue. The perfect match for any pasta.
This is an old-school style of wine and Maurizio suggests you open this up 30 mins beforehand and drink at room temperature.
