Kimbao Merlot 2020
Market Price
To show you the value you're getting as an Angel...
We regularly benchmark a selection of our wines against up to three comparable wines on the market. The Market Price is based on the price of those wines.
What do we mean by benchmark? We taste them blind against our own wines, or we use our market knowledge (over 40 years between us) to set an industry standard Market Price.
If you buy one of our wines and disagree with the Market Price, or it's not your cup of tea, we'll give you your money back. For more info, see our FAQS.

About the wine
Dangerously-drinkable Merlot from our Chilean rebel
- Connie reigns supreme over the Chilean winemaking scene and this gorgeous Merlot is a testament to that fact - velvety smooth and perfectly balanced, it's not one to miss.
- This award winning Chilean superstar makes this wine exclusively for us and over delivered every step of the way (in true Connie style)!
- It is the Rolls Royce of Chilean Merlot - with elegant flavours of blackberries and plums, this tips the perfect balance between elegance and well rounded fruityness. The ideal drop to serve up with grilled meats and salsa.

Wine profile
Meet the winemaker - Constanza Schwaderer
- Connie is a Chilean rebel. She got sacked from a big winery for leading a revolution against the cheap, mass-produced wine Chile was churning out.
- Hiding out in tiny vineyards off the beaten track, Connie champions old Chilean grape varieties - farming them in traditional ways and hand-picking the fruit using local labour to regenerate the local economy.
- Thanks to Angel support, she’s rented a big old winery and scaled up production. So instead of her juice ending up in million-litre vats, blended into supermarket plonk, she’s able to turn it into delicious high-quality wines that put Chile on the map.
