JC van Staden Petite Sirah Lodi 2013
About the wine
Powerful, brooding Petite Sirah
- Dark, dense and intense -- Petite Sirah just loves Lodi. And it packs BIG flavor.
- JC's made wine in Lodi for over a decade -- he knows where the best Petite Sirah is hiding and he has the connections with those grape growers to get first dibs.
- Ribs, my friend. Smothered in BBQ sauce and dripping with deliciousness. That's what you pair with this Petite Sirah.

Wine profile
Meet the winemaker - JC van Staden
- JC is an all-star in California's Central Valley with a hand in producing many of the award-winning wines in the area like the Peltier Station Teroldego that unhooked a couple gold medals and a "Best of Class" award last vintage.
- His job lets him spot great fruit that stands out, so he separates that to make great wine that always overdelivers.
- We're really excited to have a Lodi winemaker who specializes in big, beefy reds because these are typically expensive-styled wines, but he's delivering them at really impressive prices.
