Domus Aurea 2011
About the wine
Introducing a cult wine... 90+ Parker Points for every vintage made
- This is JP Lacaze's flagship wine - the iconic Domus Aurea. He has won at least 90/100 Parker Points for every single vintage made - now taste what all the fuss is about.
- Having grown up and learnt his trade in Bordeaux, winemaker JP knows exactly how to get every last drop of deep, delectable flavour out of the grapes that go in to this Chilean masterpiece.
- If you were in the US you could expect to pay $60 a bottle for this nectar. But because your Angel funding helped rescue JP's business, you get mates' rates.

Wine profile
Meet the winemaker - Jean Pascal Lacaze
-
Born and trained in Bordeaux, Jean-Pascal now makes wines in Chile, where he’s become a winemaking legend. Every delicious drop he touches ends up dripping medals and critical acclaim.
-
Back in 2008 when his main client went bust, Angels stepped in to save his bacon, and his vintage. Ever since, he’s been making award-winning wines specially for UK Angels.
-
How good is his kit? Well, in his spare time he also makes one of Chile’s most famous wines – the iconic Domus Aurea Cabernet Sauvignon. It sells for £40 and scores 90+ Parker Points every vintage. That good.
