Dangerous Riesling 2015
About the wine
Selected by your trusty Archangels from over 70 German wines
- The name "Dangerous" is my protest about the growing number of regulations placed upon wine production. This limits the creativity in individual wine production and makes wine look like a dangerous drink - rather than a thousand year old culture to be enjoyed!
- I was so happy to be picked by Archangels from a line-up of over 70 other German wines. I hope that in future Naked Wines Angels will continue to support me in more projects like this.
- My Dangerous Riesling has a very fruity character with a smell of peach. The minerals give the wine a lovely refined taste. The harmonic freshness of the fruit makes the wine stay for a long time on your pallet.

Wine profile
Meet the winemaker - Martin Gerlach
- Archangels discovered Martin's Riesling in a tasting at Naked HQ. His wine was chosen over 70 other whites to become part of the Naked family.
- The untimely death of his father meant he had to take the reigns as head winemaker at his family's winery when he was only 20.
- Though he didn't have the easiest start to his career, Martin has triumphed by making some seriously spectacular Mosel Riesling. We are thrilled to give Angels the chance to taste it!
