Chateau Tour Bayard Montagne Saint Emilion 2014
About the wine
This classy red gives St-Émilion a run for its money, without the hefty price tag
-
The Nicoletti family have been hand-picking and sorting their grapes here since 1956. Think of the elegance and quality found in St-Émilion’s wines but whack down the price tag et voila, you have Chateau Tour Bayarde!
- This is a smooth and powerful wine with big flavours of blackcurrant, liquorice and a lick of sweet spices. By all means drink away now but this little beauty will also age happily in your cellar for years to come.
-
We’ve had the chance to cherry-pick the best of Majestic wines to plug gaps in our range. This wine wasn’t funded by Angels, so doesn’t carry an Angel saving. But thanks to Majestic’s buying power, you still get it at a snip!
Best before

Wine profile
Meet the winemaker - Naked Marketplace
Every week, on our travels or back at HQ, we come across wines that taste amazing but weren’t made for us by Naked winemakers
At the price and quality, we wouldn’t be doing our job if we didn’t make them available to you. So we list them without a winemaker or a story under Naked Marketplace
They’re generally parcels and one-offs, so once they’re gone, they’re gone!
