Castillo Catadau Gran Reserva Magnum 2010

Love Rioja? Do your wallet a favour and try this...

    • It's not just common old Reserva, this is Gran Reserva - and in Spain this actually means something. Only top quality grapes are used - the grapes that have the best fruit, structure and intensity.
    • Jorge leaves it to mature slowly, in toasty oak barrels to give it that mellow, smooth, caramel and vanilla flavour. Yum!
    • One of our biggest ever sellers and we can absolutely see why. Pour yourself a glass of this belly warmer with big ol’ bowl of steamy stew. Perfection.

Ageing advice
Drink now to 2021

Serving advice
Serve at 14-16°C. Open/Decant 2 hours before serving

Local food match
it can stand all kind of stews and red meat, but due to the way its done and the smoothness is also nice with lighter food like pasta or pizza it is also perfect for paella (mainly chicken based paella)
