About the wine

- Described as Canepas ultra premium wine this is really something special and whilst it isn't cheap, it's bloody good.
- Aged in French-oak barrels for 14 months this 100% Carignan has bags of character wrapped up in wonderfully rich, tight blackcurrant fruit, laced with spice, licorice and a good whack of creamy oak.
- Which is probably why it wins so many golds in competition, but definitely why it tastes so damned good with a big lump of steak.
