Ana Diogo-Draper Rose of Portugal 2020
About the wine
Rustic, savory Portuguese Rosé - Ana's ode to her winemaking roots
- A limited Rosé with star power – the last juicy vintage sold out in weeks.
- With your support, Ana was able to fly back to Portugal (where she grew up!) to make an Old World Rosé – featuring Tempranillo, Castelão and Touriga Nacional.
- The result is a "lifelong dream, fulfilled!" – and a lovely, complex Rosé you won't be able to put down.
Best before
It will be good in bottle for 2-3 years, but to fully enjoy its fantastic fruit-driven character, I advise enjoying it within the next year.
Serving advice
Chill and serve between 50-55°F. My suggestion is to not place the bottle immediately back on ice but let it "sweat" to allow the intense aromas and character to shine through as it warms up.
Food match
I love to pair it with a melon and prosciutto appetizer, fresh grilled fish or the Portuguese traditional clam dish Ameijoas à Bulhão Pato.
