Brewing started in February 1999 based in a converted pigsty behind 118 Nottingham Road, Selston, Nottinghamshire. Initially an 18 gallon brewplant was used but this was quickly expanded to a 2½ barrel plant. Moved to Unit 1 Park Hall Farm, Park Hall Road, Denby during September 2001. During early 2004 upgraded to a 5 barrel plant with the original plant being sold to Danelaw Brewery. Moved to their current location in late 2010 where they share a building but not plant with Coppice Side.
