Bought for what I hoped was a bargain price in the auction I opened the first bottle with some trepidation. There were no other reviews and no ratings.
I'm not dissapointed. The reddish brown colour betrays its age, the first mouth is surprisingly light and fresh but full flavoured. There is a definite oakiness and some light tannins. The finish is spicy peppery cherry.
At the auction price I paid it seems a bargain for a wine of this depth and age.
