A good solid Chardonnay but I think there are others in the NW product list that are as good for less money

Very well made, well balanced, and well appreciated! A classic new world newer style Chardonnay, but (I'm pleased to find) with enough oak to add depth & complexity to the fruit without overpowering it.

I've read the other reviews of this wine and I'm not quite sure what to make of the wine. It has the buttery nose of a New World chardonnay with some underlying nectarine and nuts along with grassy, sauvignon like aromas. On the palate it has a healthy but manageable dose of acidity and a pleasing weight but the flavours are resticted to the butteriness from the oak along with hazelnuts. Where's the fruit gone? It's almost as though it can't make up its mind between a New World style oaked chardonnay and a nutty Old World burgundy style. Pleasant drinking though and I'd recommend it although it's pricey for what it is.

If you like chardonnays you’ll love this and if you think you don’t like the chardonnay grape try this, because you’ll love it! With the Stone Dwellers range Matt and Sam are letting the grape do the talking so it’s clean and fresh… and delicious.
