Very drinkable yet at the same time so intense and complex. At first the Burgundy-style Chardonnay undoubtedly shines through strongest of the 3 equally mixed grapes but as you continue to savour it the oaked Chenin comes through and the Sauvignon gives a delightful finish on the palate. My new favourite White.

Drinkable but very intense. The Chardonnay undoubtedly shines through strongest of the 3 equally mixed grapes but the other grapes definitely give it a bit of a different bouquet. I enjoyed it a lot but couldn't drink a whole bottle myself.

Meet the Winemaker

Johan Kruger

"I do not consider winemaking to be a job, it's a way of life. I feel really fortunate to be involved in this wonderful industry. Oh, and it's great that I don't have to wear a tie, in fact, I don't even own one! My father bought our farm in 1980 and I started working the vines with him in 1998. One the bug hit me I couldn't resist making our own wines. Following our first vintage of Chardonnay, I was awarded a Young Wine Maker of the year award, as well as 4.5 stars in Platter and Wine Magazine. I work very closely with my Dad. He's very proud of what we do with the grapes and neither of us would change what we do for the world."
