Sacchetto Pinot Rosa Frizzante NV
  • Guido, the winemaker, is a minor genius when it comes to working with bubbles, as you'll work out from the very first mouthful.
  • It's Frizzante, which means rather than a full bubble blow out we're talking lightly sparkling, in other words a nice soft tingle on the tongue, with - in this case - a delicious flavouring of raspberries and vanilla ice cream.
  • This is the perfect aperitif. Hell, it's the perfect kind of anytime, anywhere, anyplace - only it tastes nicer than Cinzano. A lot nicer.

Very good indeed, lovely change to be lightly sparkling rather than full on fizz which allowed the flavour to come through
not sure why I haven't given a full 5 star becouse it really is very good!
