As a lover of Portuguese wines I was looking forward to this and ended up being disappointed. Woody was a description used by another reviewer and think this is true. I realise that Portugal have a vested interest in continuing to use cork stoppers but maybe this contributed to (for me) a slightly corked flavour

I did like this although found it quite woody - seemed to go well with a stronger tasting meal rather than just for drinking.. very nice with some cheese and biscuits though :)

Portugal is much underrated but not sure why, usually good value, great taste and something a little different – try it I think you will like it – we did.
