"Born in Argentina to French parents, my love of wine started at 7 when I was given a little bit of wine with every meal. After making a living in mergers and acquisitions it was in 2002, during a big economical crash in Argentina, that I decided to hang up my suit and tie and enter the wine market. When everyone else was leaving the wine industry I bought an old winery with lots of small tanks, ideal for the wine I was going to produce. We don't use any chemicals at all in the making of our wines - in fact, we are virtually organic in all but name. My daughters once told me 'you're made to start a winery!' but I love the fact I'm creating something that can be shared with others and I find it a great privilege to be filling the glasses of people I've never met..."

Lovely wine, the texture and taste had a mild sherry like quality.

Mrs Tim and I both really enjoyed this. A fresh, floral bouquet which was a refreshing change from some of our recent wines which have been a little heavier and wintry by comparison. The palate is round and floral as well, with a good balance of acidity and sweetness. I doubt this will be to everyone's tastes, but I can imagine happily wiling away a lazy summer sunday in the garden with a bottle or two of this....

My first exposure to Torrontes and most enjoyable! Initial impression on the pallete is like a fresh Riesling but there is non of the follow-up sweetness of the German grape. Instead, there is a quite acidic, flinty finish rather like a Muscadet. Very enjoyable and matches up to strong-flavoured foods.
