There is a lot to LOVE about winemaking. I love the challenge of making a product from scratch that changes from year to year with the seasons. I love the people that are drawn to this industry. I love the variety (from vineyard to winery) that my job brings. I love having had the opportunity to live and work with many different people in many different cultures.

In my tasting notes I described the aroma as:
"Rather flowery, spicy, herby but fruity too… Really complicated! Like nothing else :-o"
Then for taste I put:
"<-- note: I didn't fill in the rest of this cos I just couldn't decide what to put… -->"
I reckon Stephen probably described it well, but it was just a nice suprise for me that I couldn't put into words!

I wouldn't normally be drawn to a chardonnay, although I do love a good chablis. This wine has a golden colour and a very apricotty nose. In the mouth it is quite dry and there are almonds and peach stones which adds nice complexity. Very refreshing and lends its self to refilling the glass.

An excellent chardonnay, quite a depth of flavor, not as "shallow" as some cheaper wines, a nice edge of dryness coupled with the burst of fruit. Fantastic wine for a summer's evening !
