This is quite yummy. I have fallen in love with Argentinian Malbec's this year, and this wine is stunning. Rich full taste, and very smooth.

Wonderfully smooth from the first mouthful. This is the second Lorca wine I've tried and the second I'll be stocking up on again in the future. Dangerous as I could drink a bottle easily on my own, but it's way too good not to share with friends. I'm so pleased to be Mauricio's archangel, as anybody into full bodied reds will be buying more of this without any hard-sell from me. 4.5 / 5

Lovely and fruity with a good depth, but needs to be a bit more rounded. Perhaps a bit more of those lovely rounded chocolatey tones you get in a straight Malbec would make it better. Was fantastic with a good lean steak and minted green beans though.

Lovely deep red colour, tastes smoked oak and spice in a medium bodied wine which makes it easy to drink. I think it could mature slightly longer to enhance all the fruity flavours but still a good wine.

i know the malbec is only a slightly higher percentage of the blend, but initially it was definitely the malbec that dominated, quite earthy & spicy, but as it opened up you could start to taste the sweet Shiraz fruit, and it filled out beautifully.
if you are looking for a food combo can i recommend homemade sausages & mash with fine green beans (sad allotmenter that i am!) it was just perfect!
