A nice Rioja but mine had a lot of sediment in it, which put me off a bit. I wouldn't buy again, there are far better ones around.

This is a very ordinary rioja with nothing to distinguish it. It is light almost to the point of tasting insipid. If I had bought it for £5 in a supermarket I would not have been surprised by the bland flavour, but at this price and from Naked it is very disappointing. The most that I can say in favour of this wine is that it is not heavily oaked.

As the 2007 vintage, this is an excellent wine for those, like my daughter, who aren't to keen on the heavily oaked Riojas. It's fruity, we thought plums/black cherries and fairly light. This was from the case we ordered after tasting the first sample!
