Really very nice indeed. The Carmenere gives this a great liquorice finish to make it just a bit different from your usual smooth red.

Wow, this is heady!! I took the chill off this on the Aga !!??** but it got a bit too warm. Not recommended, it just tasted alcohol. But when it had cooled down a bit, there were some real complex flavours with a decent lingering aftertaste. Treat with caution.

Really enjoyed this wine. Smooth and velvety. Went well with meatballs and a peppercorn sauce, then sat around the dining table for a leisurely chat and finished the bottle.
