"Me and my brother, Baptiste, are the third generation of our family working at Domaine de Cristia. We started working here back in 1999, taking over from my father. The soils were in excellent condition thanks to Dad's biodynamic conception of agriculture. But trying to change old mentalities was a challenge! After our first few vintages, we really found our own style in 2003. That vintage produced some wonderful wine, and The Wine Advocate called us the 'New Superstars from Chateaueuf-du-Pape'. Winemaking is something I'm truly passionate about. And I love working with my brother Baptiste, who is an engine of energy, ideas, positivity and reassurance. But if I wasn't making wine, I'd be a professor of history, or an intrepid explorer a la Indiana Jones!"

One of the few things that I could actually still taste during a recent flu bout! Dryish but with an almost rose-petal perfume to it that just takes the edge off. Very easily drinkable... Yum. Would definitely get this one again.

I'm a great fan of rose wine from provence and, in my humble opinion, they are the best roses in the world. My wife, unfortunately for my pocket, has a taste for Domaine Ott Chateau Romassan which normally costs me £20-£25 a bottle. This wine at £9, less my angelic discount !, on a value for money basis runs it pretty close. Some people get confused by some of the ribena style rose from california but Provence rose is the real deal and this is a really good example . Some rose can be bone dry but this isn't , it's very 'quaffable' and very light with a hint of strawberry. Tres bien , Dominique , je vais acheter cette vin beaucoup de temps !

I ordered this wine in a mixed case, as I wanted a couple of rose for a wine tasting. The first bottle did not fair well in the tasting.
We have just drunk the second bottle with a chicken salad meal, with the following observations
The bouquet was a flavour of burnt sugar, not fruity at all, body very thin and pale colour
I feel this wine is very poor value for money and would not reccommend to anyone !!!
I have had much better rose at much lower price

Thought this wine was going to really special being organic and all but it was really bad.

Rose is not normally my choice of wine, but I did enjoy this one. It is a light, dry and easy drinking wine - ideally suited to summer lunchtime drinking or just on its own.
