Domaine Cristia Gigondas 2008
About the wine
.
- Domaine de Cristia is run by brother and sister combo Dominique and Baptiste who are a pretty dab hand at turning lots of potential in the vineyard into lots of delicious wine.
- The Gigondas is a wild, smoky monster, oozing fire and brimstone flavour wise, and more than 91% of those Angels who have tasted it have said they'd buy it again - which for a wine weighing in at over £15 is pretty damned good.
- Lamb casserole, with a big dollop of mashed potato and several glasses of this and you're set.

Wine profile
Meet the winemaker - Baptiste Grangeon
- Domaine de Cristia is run by brother-sister combo Dominique and Baptiste who were dubbed the 'new superstars of Chateauneuf-du-Pape' by the Wine Advocate. We rather think so too.
- With the support of our Angels, Baptiste is producing wines cheaper than he ever could before
- Which means you can drink Ferrari wines for Skoda prices
