"My bosses Peter and Susan, who own Camplazens, describe me as 'Young, enthusiastic and full of ideas' - not a bad description!

It's a fantastic vineyard to work for, and I'm very proud to lead the team - alongside my wife Estelle, who runs the vineyard operations."

I thought this was a nice, deep "everyday" wine. My husband wasn't so keen but, as a rule of thumb, we're not huge lovers of French reds - Aussie Shiraz is more our style. So the fact we didn't hate this is a good start, and I think it's pretty reasonable for the price.

I first tasted this some time ago when it first arrived. I thought it was sharp, very young high tanins and far off being drinkable, I was almost dissappointed I had 2 bottles............

But time is a wonderful thing......... I have layed this down from last year and what a difference a day... err a 6 months makes.

This was a delight to drink, not as full bodied or fruit high as an Aussie Shiraz, but enough to get the tastebuds excited, a little herb and spice. Had with steak on first night and second night with green pestp pasta and chicken. Working happily with both.
I would say on the second night the wine had become more spicy which was nice. This also had a whole afternoon open before the first night to be sure it has time to get its aromas and flavours realeased.

I will and did buy again on the Market Place the current offering, you should too, its not got long to run.

Don't know if it was the Priorat that I had before I opened this but this wine really wasn't very nice. It wasn't corked it just came over really horrible. Sorry, not a good one in my opinion.

A fruity and well rounded, I too am disappointed that this has been de-listed and hope this is reviewed, it is a smooth red wine, with subtle tannins. A very good wine.
