This wine has some subtle flavours of lemons and peaches which lingers on the palate for quite a while after drinking.

The wine is full bodied and really nice with a salad or seafood.

I wasn't a big fan of this one, but that's purely because I found the peaches a little too overpowering for me - probably more of a girls wine (yes I'm going to be in trouble for that comment!!).

I liked this wine; easy on the palate, sharp-sweet, not overly complicated. If it isn't too bad to say so, perfect for cooking and drinking at the same time!!

Like a few before me, this is my first Viognier, and I like it lots. This is a wine I could drink all night, if it wasn't for the high alcohol content; the world of whites really is changing, and I'm becoming a convert. Wonderfully fragrant and with a bit of zing, but not enough to make you suck your cheeks in, this will be making an appearance at a few barbecues over the Summer I think. I'm becoming a big fan of the Arabella stable now, and this therefore will be filling a case next time I make a purchase. Rating 4/5

"My greatest pleasure has been to start Arabella, my winery, from scratch in 2006. With the help of my children, Nicky & Jamie, it's turned in to a real family business where everyone is completely dedicated. My family owned a wine farm when I was growing up, and at the age of 17 my mother put me to work in the cellar. I absolutely loved. So winemaking was something I knew I wanted to do from a young age. I love the creativity involved with being a winemaker. Every step taken, from vineyard to bottling, will effect the outcome of the wine. It's vital to have a very clear idea of what the outcome should be and the steps needed in the process to achieve the desired result."

Now this is different - more melony than the usual apricot associated with Vignier. And quite strong. The really interesting thing for me is an undefinable tang that makes it taste like a sparking wine, but without the bubbles!
