António is one of the most renowned winemakers in Portugal, winning Portuguese Winemaker of the Year Award not once but twice!
- Both his father and grandfather were winemakers so it’s no wonder Antonio has got so stuck in to the industry. He’s been a part of it for over 35 years now and he has several PhDs tucked under his belt from all over the world (Germany and Australia included) so what he doesn’t know about wine surely isn’t worth knowing!?
- We’ve heard on the grapevine that he’s the man behind the largest number of wine bottles in Portugal at the moment. Right now his focus is on the Porta 6 range so, if we were you, we’d get some of that in our basket pronto!
