Comment on: Gaucho Torrontés 2009

Lovely crisp wine. Has fresh citrus notes with a little cereal hint to finish. As previously said would be great in the sunshine or with a fish dish. Hopefully get some sun this year to enjoy some more of this.

Comment on: Castillo Catadau Gran Reserva 2003

On my first taste of this wine I was a little disappointed so I gave it an hour to breathe and found it a much better, rounded red. Not quite as full bodied as many Spanish reds however has lovely red fruits on the nose. On the palate the fruit comes to life with a little cherry coming through before the dryness kicks in . Overall a fairly good red to have along with a beef or lamb dish.
