Comment on: Blackwood Ridge Un-Wooded Chardonnay 2010
Excellent Chardonnay. I much prefer my Chardonnays to be unwooded and this is a first class example. Reminiscent of a Chablis!

Excellent and if one goes head to head with the non reserva it is worth paying that little bit more. Bags of fruit and well balanced. Adefinate re-order.

It is sometimes said that if you like a sugar in your tea then you will, probably, like Merlot. I do and I do, however this does appear a little too sweet so may appeal to those who like 2 sugars! To contradict myself a little it does go nicely with Roast Lamb and can really cut through the fat.

Expensive but Brilliant.
Beautiful golden colour on pouring the nose is as complex and interesting as the wine itself. Floral, citrus, spice and that slight petrol smell you get with Riesling.
It's fresh and dry in the mouth with those citrus and spice flavours coming through with a slight honeyness on the long finish.
A great treat and a wine that should impress most people.

First wine from nakedwines and very much living up to its expectations. A nice buxom specimen, a fine rounded body gives this Chilean plenty of character.
